Western Australian and Northern Territories Gold, Base Metals and Uranium Development and Exploration Company, Petrunus Resources (ASX: PTN) have announced the results of their opening project -level sampling program in the Pine Creek Project in the Northern Territories. The company’s 100 % owned Cardinia Gold Project (CGP) is located in the most likely region of the northeastern Gold Fields in Western Australia. The CGP has 1 gold mineral resources described in both oxide and deep basic minerals in East Cardinia and Martondell.
Phase 1 -level sampling program, which includes 4,300 sample points at the 400m x 400 meter grid in most of the company’s period, has returned 3,374 gold results to date, which represents a total of 70 %. These results have identified several large -scale irregularities, which is the most important measurement on the northern lease, 7 km 1.5 km. Taking the influx on the 100m x 400 meter grid has begun in high priority target areas, and more goals are expected after the recovery of the rest.
John Ingram, Managing Director of Petrunus Resources, commented on an interesting step for the company, highlighting that most of his pine crack era has never been organized. The team is currently translating the upcoming level data and ranking goals, using recently completed structural mapping and geo -physical compilations. The purpose of this comprehensive approach is to create new, high quality search goals for drilling in the field season of 2026.
The influx is currently underway in the selected areas on the nearly 100m x 400m grid, which aims to complete the program before the end of the 2025 field season. Where possible, detailed structural maping of extraordinary areas will also be done. The goals created by this work will be the basis for Petrunus’s 2026 drilling programs in Pine Creek.
